July Meeting Wrap-Up

Not really much to report from our July meeting. Photos taken on my camera are at this Brickshelf gallery (I honestly lost track of who had the camera, so I don’t know who to credit for taking photos). As you can see, there were some good sets and original creations shown off. Most of the discussion wasn’t really stuff we can share yet – lots of behind the scenes planning. It should suffice to say that LEGOPalooza 2009 will be awesome, regardless of whether or not we get to use the full space again (although we have so many big ideas that we really would benefit from having the whole space – it looks like we might have to skip some great ideas here).

A few ideas for the website were discussed too, but I’d rather not share any of them until we actually put them on here (I figure that’s better than promising to do stuff and then not getting to it).

About Dan

Dan is an AFOL previously living in Cary, North Carolina. He is a life-long LEGO fan, but has only fairly recently (2007 onwards) become active in the Adult Fan of LEGO community. He had previously lived in Londonderry, New Hampshire and Sammamish, Washington, and naturally managed to move out just as LEGO stores went into each area. He has not gotten back on his feet after moving out of NC suddenly due to personal concerns in early 2013.
