Raleigh LEGO Store Updates

Here are some current updates regarding the Raleigh store:

  • The giant Yoda sculpture was dismantled by a few people from our group earlier this week. We have not received word of if/when another large sculpture could be in the Raleigh area
  • The “Build Your Own Minifigures” kiosk scheduled to appear in the store from July 26th-30th has already made an appearance. At $9.99 for 3 minifigures, it can be hard to figure out if you’re getting a good deal, but some interesting Town torsos have showed up in the selection alongside some hard-to-find discontinued parts from the Harry Potter, Spider-man, and Star Wars series. It’s definitely worth a look if you can make it in!
  • 10196 Grand Carousel is in stock and on display (and awesome)
  • A chrome gold minifigure key-chain is currently being given to anyone spending $75 or more at a LEGO store (while supplies last).
  • Our next Window Into the Community display will be going up over the weekend.

About Dan

Dan is an AFOL previously living in Cary, North Carolina. He is a life-long LEGO fan, but has only fairly recently (2007 onwards) become active in the Adult Fan of LEGO community. He had previously lived in Londonderry, New Hampshire and Sammamish, Washington, and naturally managed to move out just as LEGO stores went into each area. He has not gotten back on his feet after moving out of NC suddenly due to personal concerns in early 2013.
