We just got word from our coordinator for this year’s LEGOPalooza event that we will be on a different weekend than was previously announced:
Due to the recent snowstorm this past weekend, Morehead Planetarium was forced to reschedule a number of its events to accommodate the cancellation that they had to make last weekend. They offer their apologies for having to move the date of the show as they are very much looking forward to the event. As a result this changes the dates for Lego Palooza from 2/27 & 2/28 to two weeks further out at 3/13 & 3/14
This is our annual display at the Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill, NC. It will now be held on the weekend of March 13th & 14th, 2010. The hours for Palooza are 11am – 4pm on Saturday, March 13th and 1pm – 4pm on Sunday, March 14th. We hope to see you there!

I wish that this event was not being scheduled on the final weekend of UNC’s spring break — this is the second year in a row that we will miss it because of a vacation planned for a spring break weekend.
Unfortunately NCLUG does not have a lot of say over the date – it is decided the Morehead Planetarium. LEGOPalooza was originally scheduled for February 27th and 28th but was changed due to the snow causing Morehead to reschedule another event.
