Dan is an AFOL currently living in Cary, North Carolina. He is a life-long LEGO fan, but has only recently (2007 onwards) become active in the Adult Fan of LEGO community. He has previously lived in Londonderry, New Hampshire and Sammamish, Washington, and naturally managed to move out just as LEGO stores went into each area.

Just a reminder: our display at Airlie Gardens opens this Friday. Since it’s that time of year again, new sets are starting to show up in stores. The LEGO store at Crabtree currently has a variety of 2011 sets, keychains, and magnet sets in stock, spanning the City (Police), Atlantis, Creator, and Pharaoh’s Quest series. [...]

Some housekeeping here: BrickFlix2011 will once again be just before BrickMagic. This time around, that works out to Star Wars day (May the Fourth be with you!) but the event will not have a Star Wars theme. Each year since 2005, Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC, has hosted a holiday light display called Enchanted Airlie. This year, we’re bringing a LEGO display as one of the attractions.
