The 2011 North Carolina State Fair will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds from October 13-23. The Fair has a LEGO competition for children 18 and under. There will be no May meeting. As previously announced, our area’s LEGO convention and “fan festival”, BrickMagic, will be open to the public on May 7th and 8th. Some housekeeping here: BrickFlix2011 will once again be just before BrickMagic. This time around, that works out to Star Wars day (May the Fourth be with you!) but the event will not have a Star Wars theme.
